The DCP Holding Company, known as The Dental Care Plus Group (DCPG), is the brainchild of several leading dentists practicing in greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky communities. DCPG’s founding shareholder dentists chose to exert influence on managed care in their market by creating a plan that balances the interests of all stakeholders – dentists, members, employers and shareholders. And it’s worked for more than 20 years. Today, DCPG is considered a national model for provider-owned carriers.

Dental Care Plus holds a Life Insurance License from the Ohio Department of Insurance. Since 2005, DCPG membership has grown by about 75 percent due to new products, new markets and ongoing growth in our home market.

By focusing on deep market penetration rather than rapid, haphazard geographical expansion, DCPG is able to steadily increase market share wherever it operates.
